Chad R. Brownfield, Ph.D.

Dr. Brownfield is a licensed psychologist in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin as well as a licensed sex offender evaluator in Illinois. He has been involved in the mental health field since 2003 and completed a Master's of Science in Clinical/Community Mental Health from Western Illinois University in 2007. Later, he obtained a Master's of Arts and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University in 2016. He completed a predoctoral internship at the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota with the Federal Bureau of Prisons and he was a Postdoctoral Fellow and Staff Psychologist at the Kane County Diagnostic Center prior to founding Forensic Psychological Services in 2020. He is an accomplished educator teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and he has provided training workshops for various agencies. He is also a board member for the Illinois Chapter of the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ILATSA).
